Morning Flow in Nature

Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, a time to celebrate togetherness, positivity, and new beginnings.

This year, JunWu Taiji marked the occasion with our first-ever outing, bringing members from all three centers together for a morning of fun, taichi and connection.

We began our day with Tai Chi routines in the park, energizing our minds and bodies before embarking on a 10-kilometer walk. The route took us through scenic paths, leading to a picturesque jetty at the reservoir where we paused to practice Tai Chi against the stunning backdrop of calm waters and golden sunlight. The beauty of the surroundings added an extra layer of serenity to our movements and reinforced the importance of being present in the moment.

The walk was a fun challenge for many, but everyone completed it with determination, laughter, and mutual support. Along the way, we connected, shared stories, and learned more about one another, strengthening the bonds within our growing JunWu community.

We wrapped up with a hearty brunch, savoring delicious food and the sense of accomplishment. While some of us joked about aching knees and tired soles, the joy of the experience made it all worthwhile.

This outing truly reflected the spirit of Deepavali—coming together, overcoming challenges, and celebrating life’s bright moments. It was a memorable start to what we hope will become a cherished tradition.
