I started going to JunWu Taiji back in April, and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers and classmates are welcoming, warm and friendly. I'm glad that it's on a weeknight, because i'm able to attend the lesson together with my daughter.
The lesson structures goes as follows,
warm-up, announcements, group practice, split into classes/groups, cool-down. The lessons are taught predominantly in mandarin, teachers also can speak english.
As a beginner, a lot of the time it's having to follow the teacher's form as they teach. it's more on you if you want to improve
The teachers are all very approachable, especially when you have questions about taiji or how to do certain forms or transitions etc.
Overall, JunWu is a great place to learn and practice Taiji. i'm enjoying myself so far, and have done a few performances.
德,智,体,美 - Moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetics are well exemplified here in JunWu Taiji (君伍太极). Head coach Ms Lee (君师) has a genuine approach to bringing out the best in individuals to develop their qualities.
JunWu Taiji has a warm and cheerful culture for learning Taiji. A dynamic community highly recommended for any age group devoted to acquiring the art of Taiji, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Anyone looking to learn Taiji must give this place a chance. Young, old and middle age does not matter as the teacher with her core assistants are very patient and experience in sharing and also adapt according to the students speed.
The old can learn like chu chu train (slow and steady); the middle age can learn like MRT and the young like hypersonic missiles. Kudos to our teacher and her assistants. A big Thank You.
